Government Training on Virtual Asset Regulation
In December 2025, Professor Yueh-Ping Yang (楊岳平) was invited by the Agency Against Corruption, Ministry of Justice, to deliver two lectures on “Emerging Trends in Virtual Asset Development” for government officials. The lectures provided systematic education on distributed ledger technologies, virtual asset intermediaries, stablecoins, and emerging regulatory challenges. Professor Yang also introduced Taiwan’s current multi-level regulatory framework and the draft “Virtual Asset Service Act,” addressing issues including service-provider regulation and stablecoin governance. The lectures strengthened government officials’ understanding of the legal and regulatory challenges associated with rapidly evolving virtual asset markets.

Capacity-Building for the Judiciary: NTU Faculty Training at the Judges Academy
NTU faculty members have long been invited to deliver systematic instruction and capacity-building courses at the Judges Academy, providing professional training on topics relevant to judicial practice. Participants include presiding judges, judges, judicial officers, and judicial clerks. In 2025 alone, 41 NTU faculty members taught a total of 84 courses, reflecting a sustained and institutionalised educational partnership between the University and the judiciary.
Course content spans core areas of law—including civil law, criminal law, intellectual property, juvenile justice, and administrative litigation—while also addressing emerging and cross-disciplinary issues such as the application of artificial intelligence in judicial practice, virtual currency regulation, labour law, climate change law, and transitional justice. These courses support judicial personnel in continuously upskilling and staying current with developments in law, technology, and economic affairs.
