【Bigger Than Us】Introduction
Documentary | 2021 | France | Color | HD | 96 minutes | English Audio | Chinese Subtitles | Universal
At 18, Melati has been fighting plastic pollution for six years. Young generations like her are rising up worldwide, advocating for human rights, climate issues, freedom of speech, social justice, education rights, food, and dignity. They overcome all obstacles to protect others, bravely speak out, and change everything.
Melati travels abroad to meet these people, wanting to understand how to uphold her beliefs. From slums to remote villages, from Lesvos to the Colorado mountains where Native Americans reside, individuals like René, Mary, Xiuhtezcatl, Memory, Mohamad, and Winnie discover the beauty of the world. They are committed to a belief greater than themselves. In this crumbling world, these young people lead by example, telling the world the meaning and purpose of life.
