Net Zero Tech International Contest
In collaboration with the TECO Technology Foundation, NTU hosted the 2023 Net Zero Tech International Contest @ Taiwan. The competition aimed to encourage young students to engage in research related to net-zero emissions and to promote collaboration between academia and industry. The event attracted 146 teams from 10 countries/regions and involved approximately 500 students and faculty members, showcasing the youth’s innovation in net-zero technologies from around the world.
NTU offers ESG courses
NTU coordinates on-campus faculty members and industry experts to organizes a 「Survey on Corporate Sustainability and Management」seminar by the School of Professional Education & Continuing Studies. NTU also provides action guidelines for business leaders and senior executives to innovative strategies for implementing ESG.
NTU-GVM ESG Leadership Lecture
Service for Executive Education Development (SEED) of NTU’s College of Management is a highquality learning platform to help leaders in Taiwan connect with global trends. With growing emphasis on ESG, SEED and Global Views Monthly co-designed and offered a program called “NTU-GVM ESG Leadership Lecture”. The goals of the program were to help corporate leaders tackle net zero challenges, enhance ESG capabilities, and develop visions for industrial sustainability.
E.SUN-NTU ESG centennial Project
NTU cooperate with E.SUN Bank to promote「Ten Years of Trees and Hundred Years of People--E.SUN-NTU ESG Centennial Project」. The objective is to jointly protect the environment with ecological conservation and demonstrate the social responsibility of universities and enterprises.
Gogoro Campus Sustainability Governance Project
In response to the global trend of net zero emissions, NTU and Gogoro jointly promote the “Campus Sustainability Governance Project”, so that sustainable development can be rooted in education and in line with international standards. It aims to bring the industry perspectives to the education sector, and exchange knowledge and resourse through research and activities, combining forces to promote a sustainable future.
