NTU’s “:MAKASKAS” project is a project of co-prosperity with food and agriculture. Through the investment of professional manpower, funds and fields, the project connects the energy across departments, fields and schools, and combines education, environment, local and industrial resources to drive the Yunlin and Xitou Experimental Forest’s cultural, creative and social and economic developments within the communities. It aims to create local identity for residents, provide local job opportunities, coexists and prospers with neighboring towns, and achieves the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals to promote the well-being and equality in all regions and at all ages.

NTU’s “University PIUS Project” focuses on the nomadic experience of contemporary youth mobility, and develops and deepens both local and global learning networks, so that the youths in different communities can learn virtually while at different places through online platforms and participate in building a vibrant and creative community (Community). The project aims to use high-quality education to create connections, transform Taiwan’s rural towns into a sustainable global local learning base.

NTU’s “Corporate Accelerator Program” provides a mentoring program for new entrepreneurial teams. The teams mentored in previous sessions spanned across different fields, including local creation, sustainable materials, consulting services, AI systems, education platforms, etc.
