NTU provides affordable accommodation options for students
To provide students with high-quality and affordable housing options, National Taiwan University has established a Student Housing Service Division. The university operates 26 dormitories, accommodating over 8,500 students. Additionally, the university has partnered with external vendors to provide students with a variety of housing choices through Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) projects. Recognizing the diverse financial needs of students, the university prioritizes housing applications from students with disabilities, low-income families, and those from outlying islands or indigenous communities. These students are eligible for reduced housing fees and direct assignment to available rooms, ensuring that they have a place to call home while pursuing their studies. To further assist students in finding suitable accommodations, the university provides rental information, scholarship opportunities, and referrals to government-funded off-campus housing subsidies.
