NTU is actively promoting public awareness of the issue of overfishing

National Taiwan University has been actively engaged in marine issues, participating in international collaborations through workshops and symposiums to exchange experiences in marine governance with neighboring countries. Simultaneously, through in-depth research, we have revealed the severe threats posed by overfishing and illegal fishing to marine ecosystems. We hope to raise public awareness of marine conservation through academic research and international cooperation, and to provide the government with comprehensive policy recommendations to establish a sounder fisheries management system.
