NTU regularly shares its sports facilities with the local community as part of its commitment to promoting public access, physical activity, health promotion, community well-being, and lifelong participation in sports. NTU encourages community participation by providing accessible sports facilities for students, staff, local residents, local schools, community organizations, and the general public, supporting regular recreational exercise, sports training, and health-promoting activities throughout the year.
NTU maintains a wide range of indoor and outdoor sports facilities, including an outdoor athletic track, baseball field, basketball courts, volleyball courts, tennis courts, swimming pool, fitness facilities, and the NTU Sports Center. These shared community facilities support recreational sports, physical exercise, sports education, community programs, sporting events, and inclusive recreation. Together with the outdoor athletic track, which is regularly open to the public whenever it is not reserved for university activities, these facilities are shared with local schools, community organizations, sports associations, and external groups through ongoing community engagement and scheduled use.
